Webster’s has announced today that it will carry 58 new entries in their next edition of the Webster’s New World College Dictionary that will be out in May. There were two new entries that seemed especially interesting to me. The first word was “blog”. I’m glad to
In case you were wondering why the weather was so nice today, let me tell you. Today is the 57th birthday of James Taylor. That’s right, he’s a March birthday just like me. Happy Birthday James!
I think that it is the norm to not like your morning commute. People don’t like to battle with the traffic and people. So in that regard, I consider myself lucky. My morning routine is really quite pleasing to all of my senses. I like to get up just
Jack Johnson released his new album today. Jack Johnson is one of my favorite artists. He’s got a surfer feel to him playing the acoustic guitar and steady “smooth groove” beats. He also has a very relaxing voice. This album is called “In Between Dreams.” All of the songs
On my way to work this morning I decided I had to stop by the ATM. It was just after 5am so the streets were still dark and empty. I pulled into the ATM on Las Vegas Blvd and put my card in the machine. After entering my pin, I
I took a quick spin up to Vancouver, BC yesterday. I had never really been to Canada. Well, I take that back. I did make it in to Canada when I visited Niagra Falls, but I don’t think that really counts. I just got far enough in to have
There has been a new player introduced in the digital music world, and being known as the Apple spokesman in my circles, I thought that I would set things straight. The new vendor is actually an old name with a new service. Napster, known for igniting the music filesharing a
I think that I like gadgets as much as the next guy. My mom often reminds me that I don’t always have to have the latest and the greatest. (To which my reply is, “Yes, yes I do.”) For instance, I would really like one of the new Mac

For any of you that are interested, there was an article in the New York Times this last Sunday that highlighted my company here in Vegas, and there is a picture of yours truly. (I promise I am not working myself to death, no matter what that picture may look
I made it out to San Francisco for this year’s Macworld. As I was sitting in the keynote I was just so impressed with all that Steve introduced. When he went into his trademark “one more thing” speech, i was anticipating what it would be. He then went onto
Some of you may know that I will be going to the Macworld Keynote in San Francisco this weekend. I have a few friends that will not be able to go (nor follow it online) so I thought that I would make it available another way. My friend Richard and
If you are wondering about the title to this entry, that is the best take I can get on quoting “If I Were a Rich Man” from fiddler on the roof. That song has been in my head all day. It is one of those songs that you aren’t
I was watching the Orange Bowl last night. I have been an Oklahoma fan for about 12 years now so we won’t be talking about the game. However, let’s just reference the half time show real quick. The show started with Kelly Clarkson and a long legged country
